Cherokee Community Theater - Opening June 22nd...Coming this Summer to the CCT stage! The Little Sisters of Hoboken have been invited to sing at the famed Hollywood Bowl. They are thrilled at the prospect until they realize they were instead booked to perform at the Hollywood Bowl-A-Rama, a bowling alley with a cabaret lounge. When they hear that auditions are being held for a movie musical, NUNSET BOULEVARD, they recognize that landing a part in it would be a natural, although this also forces them to contemplate their true calling. Scheduled for the last two weekends in June: 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 and July 1. Opening November 30th...Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL gets the full Broadway treatment by Alan Menken, Lynn Ahrens and Mike Ockrent in this spectacular musical extravaganza which ran for ten years at Madison Square Garden. This version also became the basis of an NBC Hallmark Entertainment special. A CHRISTMAS CAROL retains its emotional power and pure joy thanks to the marvelously told story and beautiful score. CCT Is eagerly anticipating bringing this block-buster production to the stage! Performances are scheduled For November 30th, December 1st and 2nd and December 6th-9th.

Congratulations to Christi Sayler and the Cast & Crew of the children's production of Alice in Wonderland Jr.!

This season, the children's theater, led by Director, Christi Sayler, tackled the musical Alice in Wonderland Jr. More than 60 children of all ages participated in all aspects of theater production including set design and construction, costumes, sound and lights, acting, coreography, directing and backstage work.

We are very pleased with the young people and their parents who participated and worked so hard to make this year's production a huge success! We are very proud and delighted with your efforts. Judging by the sheer volume of talented particpants, the future of Cherokee Community Theater looks bright indeed!
